Converts Showerbuddy Chairs For Children & Small Users

The unit is designed for children from 5 to 12 years old.

Compatible with ShowerBuddy SB1, TubBuddy SB2, TubBuddy Tilt SB2T, Roll-InBuddy Tilt SB3T

The P1 system converts an SB1, SB2, or SB3 chair into a solution that suits a young child or small adult. With reduced dimensions, smaller users can now enjoy a shower or use the toilet with the security and fit enjoyed by other users. P1 offers reduced distance between armrests, smaller commode opening, and adjustable padded back and neck rest.

Converts Showerbuddy Chairs For Children & Small Users

The Petite-Buddy P1 converter accessory fits on our core chair-based Showerbuddy products. The P1 enables smaller individuals to use Showerbuddy comfortably and safely. Changing mobility equipment as we get older can get expensive. That’s why the Petite-Buddy accessory is an excellent choice, allowing Showerbuddy to evolve with users as they grow in size.

The Petite-Buddy P1 accessory consists of:

  • Padded backrest cushion (280mm wide)
  • Backrest depth adjustment (325mm to 375mm)
  • Limited recline function
  • Reduced width between armrests (305mm)
  • Small commode opening in the cushion (150mm)
  • Adjustable padded neck pillow

For small users requiring bathroom transfer assistance, the Petite-Buddy P1 is an excellent choice when used in conjunction with SB1, SB2, SB2T or SB3T Showerbuddy frames (frames purchased separately).

The P1 accessory converts standard adult chairs to our smallest available size for pediatric users. Please contact us for specifications and details/dimensions. This kit contains;

  • A new push handle,
  • P1 padded backrest with adjustable seating depth and limited recline backrest adjustment,
  • P1 neck cushion, SCP1-R seat cushion with smallest commode opening,
  • A-P1 arms (300mm or 11.8″ between them). Laterals are also available.
  • Commode opening dimensions – Hole 6″ (150mm) and opening at front 3″ (76mm)
